Hiring position is for NDT Inspector Trainee:

· Must have strong math skills in converting fractions, decimals and percentages.

· Experience in measuring with rulers, tape, - calipers, and micrometers is a plus.

· This program will consist of on the job training with certified NDT inspectors and trainers.

· On site scheduled classes, which will cover the theory and academic of the entire process.

· 100 percent attendance is required until training is completed, and exams will be administered at the completion of every course and a score of 80% or greater is needed to be considered for the position.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Attendance, punctuality and aptitude are all KEY in this role.

· Currently operating with two 12-hour shifts.

· Day & Night rotation so must be flexible.

· Must have reliable transportation and available to work 7 days a week.

· 3 locations in Houston and must be flexible to work at any location: South, North East and 288.

· All candidates will go through a very structured curriculum as well as work (general labor)

· OT 70hrs per week.

Job Details

· Work eight to twelve hours a day

· Work on weekends

· Work any shift

· Duties may include assisting with movement of pipe, loading material onto line, offloading material from line, monitoring control panels and automated movement of pipe, racking/in-racking of material

· Mark pipe with status code or stencils approved by others

· Clean area

· Practice and enforce safety policies written

· May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of departmental objectives and to develop one's skills

· Other duties as assigned

· Must be able to push pipe, and safely lift and carry 60lbs.

· The employee must also be able to work outside in a variety of conditions. Candidates must be able to tolerate any climate. 

· Must be flexible with shift and hours.

Qualifications:

· Industrial experience preferred

· Good organizational skills

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Basic math skills

· Good hand eye coordination, manual dexterity and attention to detail.

· Must be able to understand written and/or verbal instructions in English

• Assist line and staff management to understand OSHA regulations and standards, including guidance on handling OSHA compliance, inspections, and citations.

• Assist in communication hazard control information and evaluates effectiveness of the control

Job Description:

• The Stick Welder/Technician will need to pass a weld test which consists of 3G & 4G SMAW (Stick) ¾’’ plate test, Back gouge the root pass.
• This person must meet all the FS Technician entry requirements at HASC in addition to passing the weld test.
• Refinery experience required.
• Turn around experience preferred
• MUST have a current TWIC card
• Have a Basic Plus
• Must be able to pass a  hair follicle/breathalyzer/urinalysis/background  test through DISA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, slide valves, ethylene valves, ect.
• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at client locations.
• Follow all schematics and documented procedures.
• Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
• Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
• Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
• Works closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequent exposure to loud noises.
• Continually required to stand, walk, bend, crouch and climb.
• Continually required to use hands and fingers and reach with arms.
• Frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years industrial valve repair experience, or an equivalent number of years of education and experience.
• Must be able to pass a DISA Background check, DISA/NASAP/ DISA Hair Test drug screen
• Must have Basic
• Must have TWIC
• Familiar with tools and machinery required to perform daily valve repair duties.
• Experience with repairing various valves and actuators, including  pneumatic, hydraulic or electric.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Shift: 7am- 4pm (Ability to work over time is required)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ​

Ship orders in a time sensitive and cost-effective fashion

Audits each outgoing shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match orders
Create accurate shipping labels for all outgoing orders
Responsible for ordering Benziger and Imagery wines for the shipping department
Responsible for ordering wine shippers and retail packaging for the shipping department
Responsible for checking in all Benziger wine orders from Redwood and Wineshipping
Sample and transfer paperwork
Master UPS, FedEx, GSO, and Ship Compliant software
Deliver incoming packages to correct locations from UPS and FedEx
Receive and count merchandise items that are delivered and inform the Retail Merchandising Manager of arrival
File damage claim paperwork
Collect paperwork and packages from sister winery, Imagery, daily
Communicate with customers and tasting room staff about weather delays and follow-up on returned shipments
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of wines, inventory conducted monthly

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum one year of experience in high velocity work-manufacturing environment or equivalent education/work experience preferred
Strong attention to detail

Strong written and oral communication skills
Basic knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel
Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently
Previous shipping experience preferred
Positive and professional attitude
Forklift Certified preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to operate various types of machinery to include, but not limited to: lift trucks; pallet jacks; hand trucks, etc.
Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry weights of up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing and twisting in the performance of various tasks in the production environment.
